On Friday, December 27, 2019 Joan Ingram passed away after a battle with cancer.
Inducted in 2002 into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame as an athlete in both softball and curling, Ingram was a key player on the CUAC Blues for decades including a 1965 National Senior Ladies Championship. In 1967 she curled with Betty Duguid to capture the Dominion (Canadian) Women’s Championship, and was a nine-time provincial champ in women’s, senior’s, and masters competition.
Our thoughts are with her family, many friends and the curling and softball communities for their loss.
