Hailey Loewen graduated from Red River College’s Medical Radiation Technologist program in 2013 and has been working as an MRT ever since. After graduation, she worked in Lloydminister, Alberta for five years, then Edmonton for another two years. In her time as an MRT, she has worked alongside an orthopedic surgeon and a radiologist, performing x-rays and pain therapy injections. She also has her certification in Bone Densitometry and has basic training in Mammography.
After her years in Alberta, Hailey, her husband, their two kids, and the family dog moved back to Manitoba to be closer to family.
Growing up on a hobby farm in Steinbach, Manitoba, Hailey was an avid dancer in ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz and pointe. She also participated in dragon boat racing in high school and on the St. Boniface Hospital NICU team.
In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, camping, travelling, baking, DIY projects, and building her gardening skills.
She’s excited to grow as an MRT within the Sport Manitoba Clinic family.
