Daniel graduated from the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba in 2012. He was born and raised in Winnipeg and has been in the health and healing professions for more than 15 years. He began his career in healthcare as a support worker with the St. Amant Centre Foundation. His interest and focus to the rehabilitation and treatment aspects of massage therapy later led him to become both a mentor, and course instructor for students coming into the profession.
His massage therapy practice focuses on the structural and functional components of bodies. Muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and scar tissue are structures, and they all function together in particular ways. Structures can develop certain movement behaviors over time. They can be unfavorable and can impact our optimal state of physical health. Body mechanics, and postural adaptations can be worked on to help improve the way we use and interact with those structures every day of our lives.
