Fundraising

The Hall of Fame hosts several fundraising events every year

Though the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame & Museum is a program of Sport Manitoba, it is also a registered charity that fundraises about 80% of its annual budget.

Winnipeg Whisky Festival

Our largest single fundraiser

The first week of March sees our largest single fundraiser welcome the whisky industry to the Fairmont Winnipeg, bringing a little warmth after a long winter. Some 48 booths and 180+ products are offered alongside the Fairmont's gourmet cuisine and experts from the industry to help you explore the world of whiskies. Sponsored by Manitoba Liquor Marts, all proceeds go to support the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame.

Hall of Fame Stanley Cup Night

25+ year tradition

This fun event brings members of the business community together to draft fantasy NHL playoff teams each April to compete for bragging rights and the chance to win fabulous prizes.

Annual Induction Dinner & Ceremony

Every November

Although best known as our signature event of the calendar year, the fundraising elements of this evening make it the second largest fundraiser of the Hall of Fame.

How can you help? You can buy tickets to this inspiring event and join us as we celebrate Manitoba's athletes, builders and teams. That's right, the public is welcome to rub shoulders with these amazing people.

Your company or organization can also sponsor the event with a full table purchase and/or an advertisement in our souvenir program. At the event itself, you can partake in our raffle and fabulous silent auction.

Manitoba Liquor Marts is also the presenting sponsor for this event.
