Join Adrienne for Yoga for Strength! Building strength is one of the key ways to prevent injury and feel capable and confident in our bodies. This eight-week session will help attendees cultivate endurance (mental and physical), stability, and maintaining mobility simply by using their own body weight.
These classes are open to all levels; Adrienne will offer modifications for yoga postures, so everyone can find an appropriate level of challenge in the practice. Expect to move with intentional breathing, break a little sweat, and have some fun!
Join Adrienne for Yoga for Mobility! Whether due to age, injury, or periods of inactivity, we can grow stiff, reducing our range of motion, but consistent effort and a strong support team can help us regain and maintain our mobility—use it or lose it!
Yoga for Mobility is an eight-week yoga session that focuses on improving range of motion with a strength-based approach. The class uses creative sequencing that incorporates elements of Functional Range Conditioning to progressively open up different areas of the body (especially shoulders and hips).
Mobility is great for our day-to-day tasks, from injury prevention to simply feeling more at home in our skin; all levels of experience are welcome!
Learn the Fundamentals of Powerlifting with coach Val Adamson! In this four-week-long program for beginners, coach Val will cover the proper mechanics of the three main lifts (squat, bench, and deadlift) and teach participants targeted warm-ups, safety tips, and correction drills. You will also get lots of time to practice what you have learned.
After completing this program, you’ll be able to train the three big lifts with safe and proper form and have the confidence to build your strength.
