The Hall of Fame recently learned that Audrey (Haine) Daniels passed away on September 11, 2021 at the age of 94 in Ohio. You can read her obituary here.
Inducted as an athlete in 2009 from the sport of softball, Daniels pitched for St. Vital Tigerettes in Senior Women’s play as a 16 year old in the early 1940s before moving on to play in the All American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL) where she helped Minneapolis Millers to a championship with 8 wins including a no-hitter and added 60 more wins over four more seasons with Fort Wayne, Grand Rapids and Peoria.
Our condolences to husband Bud and his family for their loss.
