Lia has been a dedicated Ashtanga yoga practitioner since 2000 and has been teaching yoga for over a decade. She completed a 300 hour teacher training program in Bangalore, India in 2003 and returned to study with her teacher M.S. Vishwanath in India in 2004 and 2005. In Winnipeg, Lia completed a 200 hour teacher training at Yoga Centre Winnipeg with Hart Lazar and Jan Debenham in 2005. She always considers herself a student and has had the opportunity to study with many highly skilled teachers including Fiona Stang, Prem and Radha, Tim Feldman, Kino Macgregor, and Day Christensen. She is very grateful for the guidance and teachings of her current teacher Jonathan Austman.
