Sport Manitoba is excited to announce that Kylo Harris and Susan Lamboo will be serving as Assistant Chefs de Mission for Team Manitoba at the 2025 Canada Summer Games. As part of the leadership team, they will work alongside the Chef de Mission to ensure the team’s logistics, care, performance, and overall experience are top-notch. Their responsibilities as captains of Team Manitoba include overseeing the well-being of athletes and coaches while upholding the team’s reputation throughout the Games.
Meet Kylo Harris
Kylo has been an integral part of Sport Manitoba for 16 years, currently serving as the Performance Pathway & Partnership Manager. In his role, he collaborates with both internal and external partners to develop high-performance systems for Manitobans. Kylo brings a wealth of experience to the role of Assistant Chef, having participated in eight Manitoba Games and nine Canada or Western Canada Games with Team Manitoba. His dedication to sport is evident not only in his professional career but also in his personal life, as he is married to Donna Harris, a long-standing athlete and coach, and a father to two multi-sport athletes, Abby and Clara. Kylo is currently enrolled in UBC’s High Performance Coach and Technical Leadership program, continuing his commitment to sport development.
Meet Susan Lamboo
With over 30 years of coaching experience, Susan has been a trailblazer in Special Olympics, having served as both Chef de Mission and Assistant Chef at multiple national and international events. As Sport Manitoba’s Coaching Manager and with 15 years working at Special Olympics Manitoba, her leadership has shaped countless athletes’ journeys. Most recently, she served as Chef de Mission for Team Canada Special Olympics in 2023. Outside of sport, Susan is a proud mom of two—Meghan and Callum—who are dedicated athletes themselves. Her deep connection to sport, combined with her passion for guiding athletes to success, makes her an invaluable addition to the Team Manitoba leadership for the Canada Summer Games.
Kylo and Susan’s combined experience and passion for athlete development will surely make a lasting impact on Team Manitoba’s journey to the Games.
