A Sage tradition since the 2015 Winter Games, the “Team Behind the Team” program recognizes outstanding Canada Games volunteers who support the teams and athletes by overseeing many of the logistics the teams require to compete to the best of their ability. Team Manitoba’s Peter Nicholls, our mission staff for freestyle ski and men’s curling, was recognized for this award earlier today.
Peter is an incredible ambassador for Team Manitoba. Beyond simply being there for his teams, Peter is also an asset to all of Team Manitoba through his infectious personality, exceptional attitude, and high-quality work. He’s the one you can rely on, and he uses his strengths and skills to take care of things before they have a chance to go sideways. The Canadian sport system depends on top-notch volunteers like Peter, and we’re proud he’s a member of our Herd. HORNS UP!🤘
