Gerry MacKay passed away on January 22, 2022 at the age of 91. You can read his obituary here.
MacKay starred in the semi-pro ManDak League with the Brandon Greys and played “C” class ball in the Northern League in the 50s. He was Team Canada’s field manager for the 1967 Pan Am Games held in Winnipeg and a huge part of Manitoba’s baseball history, especially in the Westman area.
