The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame learned that Harry Langford passed away September 19, 2022 at the age of 92 in Nanaimo, BC. You can read his obituary in the Nanaimo News Bulletin here.
Langford played for the Daniel McIntyre Maroons, being named an offensive and defensive all-star and winning three straight provincial championships for 1947-49. He played for the Calgary Stampeders for nine years including a string of 150 straight games when he was known as the “Iron Man.” He was a CFL all-star in 1952, ’55, ’56, ’57 and ’58.
