Manitoba Lotteries Thanks Coach!

We don’t often think about it, but the province’s 30, 000 coaches play an important role every year in shaping the lives of nearly 250,000 young athletes. Coaches teach athletes the value of hard work, the importance of discipline, and the true meaning of success…attributes important in life as well as sport.

Thanks Coach! Is a program of Coaching Manitoba and supported by Manitoba Lotteries. Coaching Manitoba and Manitoba Lotteries recognize the often unheralded but very important role coaches play in their communities. Thanks Coach! pays tribute to those coaches who display leadership, sportsmanship and fair play and help shape our athletes in becoming our future role.

Recipients of the Manitoba Lotteries Thanks Coach! Award will be recognized by adding their names to the Thanks Coach! Honour Roll at the Games.

Each selected coach will also receive a gift package during a presentation that will take place at their venue following competition. Those coaches named to the Thanks Coach Honour Roll will be featured on the Coaching Manitoba website and may be profiled by the Manitoba media.
